LEON FORDE
Leon was born on 27th October 1985 weighing 8 pounds 10 oz, loads and loads of hair, second child born to Barbara. A handful he was, could never stop and always into everything but a loving and loved boy. Three sisters followed him but he always wanted a brother.
Qaid was born in January 1997 and Leon was over the moon. Would do anything for his little brother.
On the 26th December 2000, he was 15 years old and was the passenger in a car that was being chased by police as they reckon there was a light out. Funny, when the car was checked all the lights were in full working order. Richard (the driver) fleeing from the police, turned a corner too fast and went straight into the Royal Bank of Scotland. Richard died at the scene. Leon tried to get out of the car and rolled on the floor. By this time the police had caught up (the car a mangled wreck in the wall) saw Leon on the floor and a passer by saw the police kick Leon. At the inquest the police reckoned they were checking to see if he was alive.
Leon was taken to MRI by ambulance after 1am in the morning. No one contacted his mother as they said they didnt know who he was but Leon had told the Ambulance staff his full name. Leon died in the hospital around 4am (this was found out later from the Mortician). His mother was informed by the police at 10.30am, when she was asked to identify him.
He left behind a loving and caring Mother who loved him dearly, his sisters Charlene, Clarissa, Shenae and Kyomi, Lil bro Qaid, Grandad, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends.
He was laid to rest on 11th January 2001 with his Grandmother Carmen Higgins who passed 22 years before. She is looking after him now with God and the Angels.
Leon aka Lee Lee will live in their hearts and ours forever.

Sights And Sounds of Bonfire Night
Since Guy Fawkes' time, our bonfire nights
Have been bewitched by sounds and sights.
They represent his punishment
For plotting against parliament.
The prancing, dancing flames of fire
Excitedly rise higher and higher,
Tripping, skipping in the air
Raining hot ash everywhere.
The wailing, trailing rockets fly
Attention seeking in the sky
While shooting, scooting, left and right
Explosively display their might.
The whirling, twirling Catherine wheel
Then orbits with a piercing squeal,
Sprinkling twinkling stars around
Which fall like moon-dust on the ground.
Then all at once, the silence falls
And once again the night-time calls
Normal life again resumes
The memory lingers, with the fumes.

I didn't know you but have heard much about you. Ive gotten to meet and know your mum, she is a beautiful woman inside and out and a wonderful star (don't always see her but i know she is there).
